2. Purpose
These terms and conditions of sale govern the provision of the QuickVPN service, accessible through the quickvpn.fr website. The service is intended for consumers (individuals) for personal use only.
3. Service
QuickVPN provides a virtual private network (VPN) service based on the WireGuard protocol, hosted outside the European Union, with a guaranteed speed of 50 Mbps and unlimited traffic. No user activity is logged (zero logs).
The service is available on all WireGuard-compatible devices (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android). The number of simultaneous devices is not limited.
4. Subscription and pricing
The service is offered as a monthly subscription (€5 incl. VAT/month) or yearly (€49 incl. VAT/year). Payment is made by credit card or PayPal via Stripe. The subscription renews automatically at each due date.
Prices are shown including all taxes (20% VAT included). QuickVPN reserves the right to change its prices at any time, provided subscribers are informed 30 days before the renewal due date.
5. Payment terms
Payment is made online through the Stripe platform. Accepted payment methods are credit card and PayPal. The account is activated immediately after Stripe confirms the payment.
6. Withdrawal right
Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the withdrawal right does not apply to digital services fully performed before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period. By creating an account and activating the service, you acknowledge that performance begins immediately and you expressly waive your withdrawal right.
Under Article D221-5 of the French Consumer Code, you may exercise your withdrawal right electronically from your customer area (dashboard) during the 14 days following the purchase, before the first activation of the service. After this period or after activation, no refund will be possible.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Stripe customer portal or by email to contact@quickvpn.fr. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. No partial refund is made for periods already started.
In case of non-payment (failed charge), access to the service is suspended immediately. If the payment is not settled within 30 days, the account is permanently deleted.
8. Legal guarantees
Under Articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for a period of two years from the purchase. This guarantee entitles you to have the service brought into conformity free of charge.
You also benefit from the legal guarantee against hidden defects (Article 1641 of the French Civil Code) for two years from the discovery of the defect.
9. Liability
QuickVPN strives to guarantee a service availability of 99.5% on a monthly basis. QuickVPN cannot be held liable in the event of:
- Force majeure or an event beyond its control
- Unavailability due to scheduled maintenance operations
- Fraudulent or illegal use of the service by the subscriber
- Failure by the subscriber to comply with the terms of service
The VPN service must not be used for illegal activities. The subscriber is solely responsible for the use they make of the service.
10. Force majeure
QuickVPN cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of its obligations in the event of force majeure as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code: an irresistible, unforeseeable and external event (natural disaster, pandemic, major third-party infrastructure failure, government decision, etc.).
11. Personal data
The processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy. QuickVPN only collects the data necessary for the service: your email address for account creation and identification, and payment information processed exclusively by Stripe (no bank details are stored by QuickVPN).
